Red-Hot REVIEWS!

When you write something, over time it sort of becomes your child. A child you've given birth to, have nurtured and grown to care about, that you now have to send out into the cold, cruel world - hoping it will be accepted and treated properly. If you don't write fiction, you're probably thinking I'm nuts right about now; if you do write, you'll understand what I mean completely.

Which makes it all the much sweeter when you get a good review of your work! Here are four reviews of my recent work that have recently been brought to my attention, and as they made me glow like uranium, I thought I'd post them here.

1) RAINBOW REVIEWS "was expecting thinly-veiled pornography" from A Christmas Caroler (available from eXcessica) - "but (I) was pleasantly surprised. Sure the sex scene was hot enough to melt the snow falling outside, but the characters of Kevin and Nathan have a wonderful depth to them, making me care about them. This is not easily achieved in a short story, but Klein does it with skilled ease." You can read the entire review here.

2) FALLEN ANGEL REVIEWS' April asks "Who doesn't love a good heart-warming romance to get them in the Christmas spirit? Cinnamon Sticks: The Last Noel (available from Shadowfire Press) will certainly do that. Told from Ryan's point-of-view, it turns out the main character is a funny, romantic guy who you can't help but fall just a little in love with. Noel's character, although not as fleshed out as Ryan's-probably because of the first person narrative, was equally as enduring simply because Ryan found him so." April goes on to add that "Kris Klein proves his talent with Cinnamon Sticks: The Last Noel." SIGH! Complete review here, and thank you April!

3) and lastly, SERIOUSLY REVIEWED picked up a copy of my latest, From Boys to Men (get it via eXcessica). and found it juicy enough for them: "I felt like a voyeur peeking in on Michael and Rudolfo. The sex is raw and primal. This isn’t love, or even the potential of a relationship ... It’s naughty, gritty and just a bit deviant—just the way I love it!" The complete review can be read for this story here.

BIG hugs to all three sites for being so receptive to my "children" - and I hope I can only turn out more good ones in the future!

Kris
