SOLD!

Michael at Shadowfire (www.shadowfirepress.com) is a great guy - and fast becoming a friend. I recently sent him another story, wondering if it might suit his tastes for publication (this one leaned more toward the romantic, as well as the sexual) ... and am glad to say I just received word that he's taking my office-set tale or tail.

"Indian Giver" begins with a familiar theme - a guy who hates his job. Well, Gary - 28-year-old data entry specialist, medical transcriptionist, and office drone - doesn't so much hate his job ... he's just bored to tears with the constant drudge of data entry. When his boss (a great guy whom Gary respects a lot) asks him to work overtime on a Friday, to label and sort boxes in the records room in preparation of the office's move next week, Gary doesn't have the heart to say no. Fortunately, the boss has been able to secure some help for Gary, so the project won't take all night - in the form of 23-year-old paid intern Rajiv Patel, a breathtaking specimen of all that's beautiful in the East Asian Indian male. Can Gary keep his mind on his work? Are those furtive glances Raji is shifting his way, as well?

Check back here for updates on cover art, a release date, etc. - to find out!
